When Water Gets In The Walls
This is an example of why it is prudent to get your gutters cleaned regularly. Because there was too much debris in the gutter system, rainwater overflowed and ran toward the house, which resulted in water leeching into the ground floor. What often ends up happening is the drywall soaks up the water, leaving it soggy and destroyed. When we arrived on scene, we were able to determine how far up the water had soaked, and only removed as much drywall as we needed. This saves the customer a significant amount of money.
Once the floorboards were replaced and reinstalled, the room looked just as good as new!
