Mold Under Floorboards

A customer called us complain of a musty smell in her living room and dining room.  SERVPRO of Stamford went to the house, and upon further investigation, found mold under the floorboards.  We had to remove and discard the affected flooring and treat the underlying sub-floor.  Once the visible mold was removed, we sprayed anti-microbial solution to make sure that new mold will not grow once the new floorboard is put down. 

In the second photo, the new floor has been installed, and the furniture replaced o its original location.  The customer was very excited when she saw how good of a job our technicians did.
